Ryan and Jordan’s Congressional Country Club wedding was one for the books! As the big day grew closer, Ryan realized she wanted an extra set of hands to coordinate the wedding and ensure everything flowed smoothly. See, this sweet couple lives in New York and planning from a distance can be a challenge. Sarah of SG3 Events was brought in and picked everything up seamlessly. As you’ll see in the photos below, their beautiful wedding at the Congressional was perfect from beginning to end, due in large part to Sarah and her amazing team.
If you’ve ever been to Washington, DC in the summer you know it is two things: hot and humid. Given that Ryan and Jordan were tying the knot in August, my expectations for the day certainly included indoor portraits so they could avoid the midday sun during their first look. By some stroke of magic, DC graced us with a cool week in the 80’s! Don’t get me wrong — it was still hot — but not that record breaking heat you expect in the peak of summer. It allowed us to take all their photographs outside and they were able to enjoy their outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!
Enjoy a peek into this special Congressional Country Club wedding — just wait until you see Ryan’s stunning dress!
