Justine & Brennan’s Meridian House wedding was the perfect way to end my 2021 season as a Washington, DC wedding photographer. Ironically, this was actually the same location where I began the season, with Brooks & Kristen’s Meridian House wedding earlier this spring!  The Meridian House is truly one of my favorite venues in the District of Columbia; I’ve been lucky enough to visit this beautiful location on numerous occasions and I can assure you that it’s lovely any time of year (check out Tayler & Kunal’s summer Meridian House wedding for a look at another season!!).

September is one of those months here in DC that can really throw any kind of weather your way — heat, cold, rain, or sunshine; you never know if it will feel like a hot summer day or have already transitioned to fall. Luckily for us, we had the latter this year and it was absolute perfection. Truly, if I could choose the weather (oh, how I wish I could choose the weather!), it would be exactly what we had for Justine and Brennan’s wedding day.

These two were lucky enough to enjoy the majority of their day outdoors so they could soak in the beautiful weather as much as possible, too! They opted to do a first look and we held that in the gardens so they could have a bit of privacy for their first few moments alone together on this special occasion. Their ceremony was also outside, in stunning Linden Grove behind the Meridian House. Guests mingled between the two locations throughout cocktail hour and we were able to step back out before the reception to have additional portraits with a bit of the architecture out front.

Justine and Brennan made the most of every moment throughout their wedding day and celebrated, safely, with those they loved most! Enjoy a peek into this special day that was planned by the unparalleled Stephanie of SRS Events — it was a beauty!
