Erin and Andrew were married at Woodholme Country Club this March. While their black tie wedding outside of Washington, DC was sophisticated and elegant, with a stunning reception designed by the fabulous team at Nouvelle Weddings (one of my all-time favorites!), the air around these two was anything but. They radiate warmth and joy, making even those they’ve just met feel so loved and cared for. And they don’t let the little things bother them — a windy wedding day? No biggie! They rolled with whatever came their way and when I mentioned sneaking outside for a few quick portraits, Erin didn’t complain once about just how cold she must have been in that freezing winter wind. 

 

Their wedding date was almost exactly three years since they first met in March 2019, having their first date at Bonnie Vee after exchanging a few texts over the previous week. Erin and Andrew’s connection was almost immediate, deciding to spend the rest of the weekend getting to know one another and realizing that they had even attended the same preschool while growing up in Maryland — a bit of fate, isn’t it!? 

 

If there was any question of whether or not Erin and Andrew were meant to be (there wasn’t!)… that was all erased when they opened their gifts to one another to find out they had gotten each other the sam gift! And not just any gift, but a Cameo from Mark Walberg. No, not THAT Mark Wahlberg from all your favorite early 2000’s action movies; but the obscure Mark Walberg from their favorite trashy TV show (no judgment, we all have one)… Temptation Island. The reactions were truly something to witness — a true “found my person” moment that was too sweet. 

 

They clearly have a special bond and it was such an honor to document their wedding day!
