Stephanie told me from the beginning how much she loved Style Me Pretty — it’s no surprise, as it’s the biggest wedding blog in the entire world — but she truly scoured their archives to draw inspiration as she planned for the big day. Shooting her VA Winery Wedding was an absolute dream for a photographer; she had detail after detail placed in every corner of the venue so anywhere you looked, it was personalized to her and Patrick’s taste. My dear friend Rachel, the incredible florist at Floral and Bloom, partnered with me to help make Stephanie’s dream of seeing her wedding on the pages of SMP a reality! The room was dripping in blush colored dahlias and other airy foliage.

Trust me when I say, these two thought of literally everything. As they were sharing a fall wedding, they had fresh donuts and apple cider available to guests upon arrival.  Hand-calligraphed welcome signs invited them into the barn for the reception and unique place cards helped them find their seats.  Perhaps best of all was the mini-dessert bar where there was truly something for everything! Little pies, pastries, and puddings galore! It was such a beautiful day and I hope other brides will find inspiration in their ideas.
