Last fall, I was incredibly fortunate to have my first styled shoot featured (the Downton Abbey Wedding, if you missed it) on one of my favorite wedding blogs, Style Me Pretty. I was ecstatic to learn that my work was going to be showcased amongst photographers who I have long admired and was proud of how hard we worked to get there. When I started dreaming up my next shoot over the winter with Kat, I never dreamed that lighting would strike twice! I am absolutely humbled to have it featured on Style Me Pretty today and would love if you could head over to check it out! 

The heart of this shoot was designed by our love of all things romantic and magical. We wanted to take a slightly different approach and instead of focusing on the bride and groom, we wanted to share what a wedding day may look like before a bride walks down the aisle. The time when she and her bridesmaids are preparing for her to meet her prince charming. This particular bride was being married on a private estate where she grew up, the same one that housed her first love — her horse. She took a private moment to say hello to her old friend which resulted in stunning imagery as there seems to be no greater bond. 

Again, a huge thank you to SMP for loving our vision! This was such a fun shoot to pull together and I hope it inspires future brides to enjoy the time she has with her girls or beloved pet before walking down the aisle!
