Can someone please tell me how it is December already!? It feels like 2014 just began and now it’s almost over… I have had such an awesome year building Alicia Lacey Photography and one of the highlights that I’ve been waiting to share with everyone is a styled shoot that I organized with the help of Tyler Fitzhugh from Voila Event Studio this past September. I’m going to be posting the styled shoot in full on my blog next week so you can read about some of the incredible vendors that donated their time and talent. SMP has been such an inspiration as I’m defining my brand and style, so to have the shoot accepted was a major achievement, to say the least. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking to submit a shoot. You pour so much of your time, energy, and money into making it perfect in the hopes of not only inspiring other brides, but also attracting more like-minded clients who want to pursue the same aesthetic you built for the shoot. Because, let’s be honest, it’s one thing to post your images and share them with your audience (that’s daunting enough!), but it’s a completely different experience to share them with the entire world. SMP is, after all, the worlds largest wedding blog!
