Having a Washington, DC wedding is wonderful because you could really have any sort of venue you’d like — an iconic monument, a historic estate,  a secret garden, or — believe or not — even a winery! District Winery might not be your traditional vineyard like you’d find in wine country, but it is a full service winery that is right on the waterfront in Washington, DC. It has both indoor and outdoor space (with heaters!), so that your guests can enjoy the epic view no matter what the season!

This sweet couple met first on Bumble and had one of the best conversations of their lives over the course of several days. J deleted the app, as he no longer wanted to talk with other women, which in turn lost their connection! By pure luck, they reconnected on Tinder just a few weeks later. S thought that perhaps J didn’t remember her, but when he had a callback to their previous conversation, she knew she found something special.

Fast forward several years later, and S & J were married at District Winery on a beautiful March day. It was just before baseball season began (DW is right next door to Nats Park!), so it felt like we had the waterfront area mostly to ourselves which made for beautiful portraits. Their friends and family watched as they tied the knot in a Jewish ceremony before celebrating with everyone by dancing the night away!
