I absolutely adore Great Marsh Estate weddings. Something about the tree-lined driveway up to this stunning home just makes you feel like you’re about to document something truly magical (spoiler alert: you are!). While the manor house was a reconstruction from the 1980s, it feels like something built hundreds of years ago with its classic architecture and elegant interior. Elegant, without being stuffy, of course, which is really the key to this location. The laid back reception space allows you to have the best of both worlds for your big day — a formal ceremony, epic portratis, and a relaxed party to finish off the night Add in the view from the back porch (an understatement, at best) and you’ll certainly be speechless watching the sunset over the endless fields. There is no shortage of portrait locations and I always urge my couples to allow for plenty of time to explore the full property!
My favorite part of Alexine & Caleb’s portraits was the classic white car. A vintage vehicle adds a bit of sophistication to an already special day and is my favorite “accessory” — outside of a dreamy bouquet! This car paired with Alexine’s gorgeous off the shoulder gown and Hollywood curls, felt like something out of a movie!
It was such a honor to document these wedding photos for Alexine & Caleb at Great Marsh Estate and I’m already looking forward to returning to this beautiful venue!
