This spring, I was invited to the stunning Great Marsh Estate to photograph a wedding shoot alongside the talented design team behind Nouvelle Weddings. It truly is nothing short of a joy to have the opportunity to partner with so many different creatives and this shoot was certainly no exception. From my first contact with Briana at Nouvelle, I could immediately tell that our brands aligned perfectly. Her inspiration for the big day included all things timeless, elegant, and neutral. I can’t even begin to tell you how far my jaw dropped when she revealed the long-sleeved, lace bridal gown that instantly set off visions Kate Middleton in my mind.
The only thing that could’ve ruined such an impeccably planned shoot, was, of course, the unpredictability of April weather. Like all couples getting married, we too anxiously checked the forecast in the days leading up. As it approached, the threat of showers lingered like an ominous black cloud over our day. When the day finally arrived, I awoke, to my disappointment, to cloudy skies and a sprinkling of rain. Then, like some sort of magic, as I was driving to the shoot the clouds parted to reveal blue skies and sunshine. We had a gorgeous spring afternoon and the rest of the day unfolded as planned! I’m so grateful to have been a small part of this amazing team! Enjoy all of this stunning Great Marsh Estate wedding from Bealeton, VA!
