Hannah and Chris were married at the Conrad Hotel in Washington, DC on perfect fall day this September. Their wedding was designed and planned by the fabulous Jane of Cheers Darling Events, who took their vision and pulled it off perfectly. Their black tie affair was chic and modern while still staying timeless and classic. I loved Jane’s execution of the sleek black and white palette that was felt through all of their personal and reception details.
September is one of those months in the district that are totally unpredictable in so many respects. With weather, you can get anything from hot summer to false fall and with tourist traffic… well, that’s always unpredictable! Luckily for Hannah and Chris, we had the absolute best of both. It was a perfect day — sunny, but not hot and when arriving to one of DC’s biggest monuments, the Jefferson, we were greeted with a nearly empty space. And trust me, with a wedding party of over 20 people, we needed a lot of room!
My favorite part of this day, however, was just being observer of watching three beautiful families become one. Hannah’s dad described it as the Ravens, Eagles, and Commanders become one… which may seem impossible, but if you felt all the love and happiness in that room, you might be a believer too. I know one thing for sure, Hannah and Chris have all the support they need for a long and wonderful marriage.
