A few years ago, I restructured my investment guide so that the majority of my clients would receive an heirloom wedding album within their Collection. Personally, I think there is just something so lovely about the idea of knowing my clients are taking home a piece of their wedding day after all is said and done. Sure, they, of course, get access to all the high-resolution files… but like anyone with an iPhone will tell you, we so often end up not doing as much as we should with those. By adding an album into the Collection, it ensured they would have a tangible piece of photography to always reminisce on as the years go by. Plus, they are just super beautiful and look pretty fantastic on a coffee table if I can say so myself!
Tayler and Kunal were one of my three couples in 2019 that did not have an album in their Collection, but Tayler’s sweet mom, Ainsley, reached out to me a few weeks back about putting one together for their first anniversary and I couldn’t have been more excited to get started. Their Meridian House wedding in Washington, DC was one of the perfect days from beginning to end. I’ll always love their outdoor ceremony within in the Linden Grove and I adored their extended cocktail hour reception, so getting to relive this day through album creation was nothing short of a joy. Ainsley let Tayler in on the surprise so we could collaborate on the design and the end result is nothing short of stunning. I love how they incorporated their custom monogram design on the cover of the album, embossed in gold foil, rather than adding just the traditional cover image. And coming in at 20 pages, we were able to fully tell the story of their full day.
Enjoy scrolling through this heirloom album below (and be sure to watch the GIF at the end!), it’s about to become a new favorite!
