I think any couple who is getting married, or has already said “I do”, would agree that picking a theme for your wedding day is a huge undertaking. With the existence of Pinterest, there are so many unique ideas floating around out there that it can be hard to narrow it down to just one! And once you have one selected, the rest of your remaining plans – everything from flowers to cake – revolves around this theme! I mean, some couples even choose a theme before they find a venue so they know it won’t clash.

I think the idea of travelling to a foreign destination is appealing to most couples, as it creates an extra romantic vibe. But for many, this isn’t realistic as the planning, not to mention the costs, associated with something like this can be quite overwhelming. And so, instead, they bring the destinations to them with their theme! I’ve seen a growing trend the past few years of French and English inspired weddings and think that Brittany and CJ executed theirs perfectly! After exploring the countryside outside of London a few years prior, they knew an English Garden wedding would be a sweet nod to one of their first trips with each other. Morven Park in Leesburg, VA was an idyllic spot for their wedding as it already came complete with gorgeous hedged gardens that would make even Kate Middleton envious!
