Stone Tower Winery 'Figs & Blues' Wedding

Back in October, I shared that a whimsical Stone Tower Winery wedding that I was the photographer for was featured on Style Me Pretty! It’s no surprise that the feature was absolutely stunning, but I wanted to, of course, share the images on my personal blog as well! After all, the incredibly talented Stephanie, from SRS Events, put together such an amazing shoot and team – I was just lucky to be a small part of this!

I think the staff over at Style Me Pretty worded it all so perfectly, so let me borrow a quote from their feature: “There is nothing as romantic as a table overflowing with seasonal fruits, especially jewel-like figs, and just-picked vineyard grapes. Set at the verdant Stone Tower Winery, in Leesburg, VA, this wedding inspiration shoot feels reminiscent of a Dutch Master’s painting. SRS Events planned every fine art detail to perfection, and Eight Tree Street Florals created meadow walkways and artfully unfinished arches that seemed to envelop and embrace the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. Like the most carefully placed brushstrokes, the reception details picked up all these naturally-occurring blues, from refined blue-and-white floral linens to a table dappled with dahlias and studded with blackberries. Bouquets of grapes and handfuls of figs evoked the vineyard setting, and lavender and blue gowns added to the feeling of enchantment.
