I knew before it even began that Jenlain and Matty’s Westin Alexandria wedding would be both a stunning and flawless day! Jenlain and all her bridesmaids were absolutely glowing after JKW Beauty wrapped up hair and makeup. The bride then slipped into her classic lace and crepe Pronovais gown from Ellie’s Bridal which was perfectly complete by one of the most lush and elegant bouquets I’ve ever seen! Yen from Chic Girl Flowers (my favorite!) is simply a floral genius — the bouquets were somehow both perfectly textured and soft at the same time; just wait until you see them below! And don’t even get me started on the circular flower arch she designed for the ceremony… it’s unreal! At the reception, with Lauren from Hitched by Heather at the helm, every single detail was more beautifully executed than the last. Finally, the Bachelor Boys Band killed it on the dance floor and I saw guests singing along to each and every song. 

It goes without saying that the entire event was so perfect thanks to Jenlain and Matty’s attention to detail when planning for the big day. They put so much thought into every aspect and it clearly paid off. Heck, even the weather was amazing which is rare in April — a month known for it’s unpredictability and showers! Yet perhaps one of the biggest elements of any wedding day is the venue. These two chose the Westin Alexandria for one simple reason; they wanted a place for their guests to be comfortable. The majority of Matty’s family was visiting from the UK, so it was important for them to have a hub close to Washington, DC to explore. And having the wedding in the same location made the day a breeze. They put the needs of their company above everything else and I think that speaks volumes to the character of this sweet couple.

Having worked with them for over a year, I can tell you they are nothing short of a joy to be around and Jenlain’s gorgeous smile is simply infectious. Their beautiful spring wedding was the perfect way to kick off my 2019 wedding season and I can’t wait to see what else in store this year!
