When I first “met” Edith & Matt to discuss all things wedding related, they were actually in Chicago, not Washington, DC! I felt an immediate connection with them based on our love of travel. It was even on a trip to the beach where Matt ended up proposing to Edith! The first few days they arrived, Matt tried, to take Edith for a sunrise walk on the beach. After having little success, he instead went to plan B: sunset. So off they went on a romantic walk down the beach, Edith and Matt… oh, and Matt’s young niece! Although she was an unplanned addition, it actually ended up paying off as she was able to distract Edith long enough for Matt to get down on one knee! Since there is going to be a beautiful wedding in just a few short weeks, I think we all know how this story ends :)
