Oh, I’m so excited to share this recent album! If you remember Lauren and Tony’s Veritas Vineyard wedding from this past September, you remember it was truly a day for the books — beautiful flowers, a stunning couple, and my personal favorite, a color palette reminiscent of my days at JMU (go Dukes!). Lauren chose a classic, linen album in smoke, which perfectly complemented the suits worn by the groom and his party on the big day.
I really enjoy blogging these albums for clients who are on the fence about whether or not an album is something they want to include in their wedding collection — I think having the opportunities to see what these heirlooms look like for other brides and grooms can help cement that decision (although, I have to say, they are even more beautiful in real life!). I (obviously!!) think of all tangible takeaways from your wedding day, an album is one of the most important — cakes will get eaten and flowers will wilt, but your images are the best way to preserve those memories. Many brides think they will create their own after the wedding is over, but then life gets in the way as you’re busy celebrating your new marriage and building a home together and it gets pushed aside for months. Most of my clients have their album in hand within 3 months of their wedding day, so while everyone is still asking you about the event, you have something to actually show them! And as the years go by and your children want to hear the stories and see the images, you again will have something to share so they can feel as if they were there!
