I’m thrilled to be sharing a peek of Sarah & Mike’s gorgeous silk heirloom album from their Stone Tower Winery wedding held in Leesburg, VA this past September. It was a perfect fall day, so much, in fact, that they celebrated the entire day outdoors from the ceremony and cocktail hour all the way until the reception and dancing. An al fresco wedding at a Virginia winery? I was in photography heaven!

While their Collection didn’t initially contain an album, after the wedding they decided that they wanted to make the investment in one of these beautiful pieces to commemorate the big day. After all, the two of them had just moved into a new home and weren’t exactly sure when they would find the time to design their own between all the house projects they had on their list!

This is one of the aspects I love most about being able to provide my clients with a wedding album — it ensures that they will have a gorgeous, professionally designed heirloom in their hands mere weeks after the wedding. Sarah and Mike were married this past September and had their album before Christmas!

Sarah selected a silk cover in the cream colorway for her album — this is one of my absolute favorites for weddings because there is just something so chic and wedding-esque about the color paired with the fabric. Not to mention how much I love the gold embossed foil on the cover as well!  The silk does have a bit of a natural texture to it, but this is a great thing in my opinion as it’s less likely to show any snags or wear over the years. And, like all the albums I offer, it comes in a leather protective case to ensure safe keeping.
