Have you ever seen the movie, “The Holiday”? If not, you’re missing out! While it can definitely be a bit cheesy at parts, it’s still one of my favorite winter-time/holiday movies and I’d highly recommend checking it out because, hello, Jude Law! Anywho, I promise, this is not a review of movie from 10+ years ago!! All this is to say, in the movie they talk about “meet cutes,” which is essentially the scene in a romantic comedy type flick where a couple meets for the first time… think the jumping scene in Titanic or fish tank scene in Romeo and Juliet (not sure why all my references include Leonardo DiCaprio and are super dated, but roll with it!).

Well, if Jenny and Kyle’s lives are ever made into a movie, they would certainly have the most adorable “meet cute” for their rom-com! A few years ago, Jenny was asked to be a bridesmaid in her childhood friend’s wedding. Meanwhile, the groom from that wedding knew Kyle in college and invited him to be part of his groomsmen for the big day. They were paired to walk down the aisle with one another and now, two years later, they are planning their OWN walk down the aisle to one another! Isn’t that just the best? I don’t know if I believe in fate or not, but that story alone is certainly enough to convince someone!

I met these two in Old Town Alexandria, VA this summer for a gorgeous sunrise session along the waterfront and surrounding streets. They are planning the big day at Airlie Center in Warrenton, VA next June; Jenny is one of the most on top of it brides and has nearly every vendor booked — a bride after my own heart!  I am ecstatic to be part of their big day!
