RiverOaks in Charleston, SC calls itself “a full-service experience for couples who value meaningful moments and a legacy that lasts”. And the owner of the beautiful venue, Marianne Caldwell, truly means that. She limits the number of clients they will serve to only seven per year to ensure she can provide a phenomenal experience from beginning to end for each and every person that is married on their property. They say that they want the experience to feel like taking a trip to Europe – being both pleasant and relaxing so the couple can focus on the importance of the day ahead rather than all the small details.
The property itself is draw-dropping from the moment you arrive. You’re immediately greeted by a stunning lake in the front of the home shared by the Caldwells. If you’re lucky to visit in May, you may even have the privilege of seeing Marianne’s stunning pink roses crawling up the front of the home. But out back is where the true magic begins – through the small break in the oak trees dripping in spanish moss, you’ll see a soft glimmer. As you approach, you’ll realize that you’ve just landed on a rustic wooden dock that on their waterfront that seems to lead you into a magical abyss. Don’t believe me? Just wait until you see the images! Any bride and groom who finds themselves lucky enough to be married at RiverOaks will certainly be in good hands!
And of course, a huge thank you to all the amazing vendors that came together for this shoot!
