Anthony and Megan were raised in opposite areas of Virginia but were brought together in the wonderful city of Washington, DC. Megan was in the sales with the Wizards at the time and after Anthony wrapped up his internship, he moved to the same department. The team had to work various events throughout the year that required crazy hours, so they often found themselves grabbing lunch. Those lunch dates slowly turned into drinks after games and then dinner dates and as Megan says, they quickly found themselves inseparable. The connection between these two is immediately apparent upon meeting them; they have such an infectious love for one another that they truly couldn’t stop smiling throughout our whole session (which made for some GORGEOUS images as you’ll see below!). 

Last year, however, Anthony found himself with a job opportunity in Cleveland and Megan urged him to go for it. He has spent the last 14 months living in a new city and they only had the chance to see one another every 2-3 weeks. They both agreed that their relationship grew exponentially through the distance, but it was still hard to be a part from one another! 

They decided to spend a week taking a road trip from San Francisco to LA earlier this year so that they could have some uninterrupted time alone while exploring a new area of the country. Anthony knew this was his chance to pop the question to Megan and found the perfect little spot at a winery in Santa Ynez. I hear that after some heavy gum chewing he got up the nerve and she, of course, said yes! These two will be married next July at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards in Charlottesville, VA and I cannot wait to celebrate with their families!
