Kelly and Robbie are one of those couples you just can’t help but love. I mean, I’d say that about all my couples, but these two are especially lovable! Whether it’s their welcoming demeanor, warm smiles, or infectious sense of humor, they bring so much joy to everyone around them. I had a blast getting to know them better during their Lincoln Memorial engagement session last year, and I was thrilled to reconnect on their wedding day.

Interestingly, I’ve known Robbie for a while—sort of! He’s the youngest sibling of two of my former brides. I captured the first wedding in 2017 and the second in 2019, so it’s amusing to think I’ve been working with this amazing family since before some of their partners were even in the picture! I remember joking with Robbie after Kaylie’s sparkler exit in 2019 that he should call me once he got engaged. Fast forward a few years, and he met the wonderful Kelly! When I received her note about their engagement, I was over the moon.

Their wedding day was absolutely seamless, held at Fleetwood Farm Winery in Leesburg, VA—a venue that was new to me. They exchanged vows outdoors under the golden sunlight, and then danced the night away with their friends and family, creating memories that will last a lifetime. As Robbie was the last of this family to get married, I couldn’t help but feel a tinge of sadness as I said goodbye, knowing it might be the last time I see everyone together. They are such a truly special group, and I’m incredibly grateful to have documented so many milestones over the past seven years.
