You know what’s kind of scary? Asking some amazing vendors in the wedding industry to collaborate with you on a shoot, to have them help you make this little dream in your head you have a reality. And surprisingly, it’s not the “no, I can’t right now,” e-mail that I’m scared of — it’s actually the “yes, I would love to!” to that terrifies me. See, everyone I’ve been fortunate enough to work with has just gone above and beyond for their part of the shoot — yes, it is mutually beneficial for all of us, but in the end, I’m the one asking the favor and I’m the one who has a responsibility to each and every person who has so kindly agreed to work with me!
So when I arrived to this particular shoot on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in March, I saw the sun was a little high and bright and decided, with the help of Kat, to wait a bit until we had better lighting. I just wanted everything to be perfect, like we always do! But then, the winds came blowing in… and I mean hard. Napkins and menus would be placed on the tablescape just to be on the ground a second later. Candles knocked over. Hair whisked over each girls’ face. It was, in a word, a mess. But this amazing group of ladies came together and we worked as a team to make sure this shoot, at least in appearance, went off perfectly. I am so grateful to each and every one of you — this shoot truly would have failed without you!
Now go enjoy some pretty pictures of 4 gorgeous ladies!
