Stephanie & Marcus’ elegant Oxon Hill Manor wedding that I photographed this summer was certainly an affair to remember! Seeing as Stephanie is the lead wedding planner behind SRS Events, I knew she would have the details more than covered. It wasn’t until the big day, however, that I truly got to see how incredible her ideas looked when they came to life.

It all started in the bridal room, where I got to capture her intricate dusty blue and blush invitation suite that was complete with their custom crest — a crest that featured their two puggles, Lola and Lily, of course! Her velvet ring box was adorned with a gold gilded monogram and her shoes and drop earrings added just enough bling to complement her delicate lace gown. 

As I arrived at the venue that afternoon, I was greeted by an elegant Clydesdale horse named Winston and invited to partake a welcome glass of champagne — it was hard to have to say no with those adorable wooden “cheers” signs, but I had more details calling my name! The indoor ceremony was in the most stunning vintage room with dainty acrylic chairs. After the couple said “I do”, guests were encouraged to kick off cocktail hour at Marcus’ wing bar where you could choose your flavor and wash it down with a mini mug of beer! 

Finally, it was time for the reception and guests found their hand calligraphed table card on a towering display outside the tent. Inside, they were met with lush floral centerpieces and chandeliers designed by the ever-talented Jo at Highway to Hill. The room was overflowing with a variety of blush tablecloths and each seat had a custom name plate for the guests. No corner was left untouched, as the back of the room displayed the four-tiered cake by Sweets by E and even a whiskey bar with a wide-range of choices. Once dinner was complete, guests danced the night away to music by the amazing band, For the Win! They even had the chance to fill up on a late night snack and gelato before the couple made their grand streamer exit.

It was such a picture-perfect wedding day and I have no doubt that these two are reminiscing on all the fun their big day brought while laying on the beaches of Jamaica!
