I had a stunning black-tie wedding in Baltimore all ready to go for the blog today… but that is being postponed until Tuesday because I had SO much fun at the NOVA Shoot & Share Holiday Party last night that I wanted to get our pictures up immediately! I’ve blogged about this awesome group before here and here, but this was one of the first times we just got to let loose together and NOT talk about business! The shindig was held at our home and I am so grateful for how many awesome people came from all over the DMV from Leesburg, Reston, DC and Fredericksburg.
We set up a little photo booth, that was — in a word — budget (hey, I have no shame in my game!). One of the members had brought this awesome gold glitter backdrop, but we may or may not have ripped it when trying to get it hung and opted for using our blue curtains instead!! Honestly, we had such a good time that no one really cared; as a Washington, DC wedding photographer, I know this is probably bad to say, but sometimes it’s not about how picture-perfect something looks, it’s about getting to make memories with the people you care about. And I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to tell from our pictures that we did just that!
Thank you again to everyone who came out; we had such a blast celebrating the 2014 season with you! I can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store for each and every one of us — it’s sure to be another busy, but amazing year!
Okay, on to the silly!! We’ll have Meg kick it off for us…
ta da!
Even Granger gets in on the action!
How cute are these two!? Ali is second shooting for me next October and I can’t wait to work with her!
I just love this picture for some reason… it’s perfectly un-perfect! That’s a word, right!?

Love you, mean it!
Oh, this is so my favorite picture of the night! I have so many words that I can’t even type :)
And, of course, my little family!
