“Ooo I hope it’s that one,” I whispered to Lauren as we drove down a long and windy road that seemed endless; the handmade “Parking” sign caught my eye and I knew we were in the right place. Before unloading our equipment, we took a second to step out of the car and take in the view that surrounded us. A beautiful blue sky, spotted with fluffy white clouds. The deep green grass and trees, proving that spring had officially arrived. Oh and of course… the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains that served as the backdrop for Saturday’s wedding. See, I was a bit nervous before arriving to this particular wedding as it was the first time I didn’t have an address to just plug in my GPS! The private estate was so perfectly remote that it wasn’t even featured on a map. Once we arrived, I couldn’t definitely see why — I would want to hide away in that ideal little corner of the world, keeping that view all for myself if I could!
Ainsley & Neil are two of the most genuine, kind people I have ever met and deserved nothing but the best for their wedding day — and that is exactly what they received. This day was all about celebrating their marriage; through the laughter, the tears, and the dancing, the night went off without a hitch! Okay, well there were a few (ahem, a lot) of dropped drinks, but who’s counting ;) Ainsley thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day, I feel truly honored to be able to call you my friend!
