I feel like I’ve started every single one of these posts the same, but the older Landon gets, the truer each one feels. I genuinely cannot believe that I am writing this post beside my 10-month old baby. How are we out of the single digits already? How is his first birthday just two months away? It feels like just yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital and introduced him to Granger; now they are best friends and he feeds her more food from his highchair than she even knows what to do with! I wish I could say at time goes on things slow down, but it only seems to be doing the opposite. Months are passing by in the blink of an eye, so I love writing these posts to reminisce on what a joy the past three months have been with our sweet babe. 

MONTH 7
This was a month full of “firsts” for Landon! He started crawling about halfway through the month and then literally never stopped. Our friends and family joke is a speed racer because he can move SO fast. He also got his first two teeth! Even now, months later, I haven’t gotten a good photo of them because they are hidden at the bottom, but they popped up really quickly! We spent lots of time at the library, playing outside, and visiting the pool. 

MONTH 8
Another month with some big firsts — just days after he turned 8 months old, Landon pulled himself up to stand! He plopped over immediately, of course, but got better as the month progressed. The babbling also began! Lots of “mamas”, “babas”, and even “blah blah blahs” which are my favorite. A new tooth popped up on the bottom, but still no photos! 

MONTH 9
Landon really started to pick up on some of his motor skills throughout this month! Waves, clapping, and more babbling were the biggest changes. He also got an early birthday present — an outdoor swingset that we already love and cannot get enough of! We decided that he didn’t know when his birthday was/wasn’t, so why not get it now to enjoy while it’s still nice out here in DC! He had his first fever, which resulted in a lot of baby cuddles that I didn’t hate :) And we also had lots of visits with his friends as my wedding season started to slow down for a bit!
