Herrington on the Bay Wedding

Throughout the entire 2014 season as a Washington, DC wedding photographer, I can honestly say that every couple I worked with was very kind and welcoming; however, Catherine and Christian took it to a whole other level. They were married on one of those incredibly hot July days and instead of being worried about sweating for pictures or complaining about the heat, they were constantly checking to make sure Megan and I enough water! I know that’s just one small example, but it’s couples like this that make me love what I do!

These two were married at Herrington on the Bay, a beautiful bayfront wedding venue in North Beach, MD. It’s set just outside of a busy beach town, so you never feel like you’re in the middle of everything. Instead, it’s actually quite remote and peaceful with a seemingly endless view over the Chesapeake Bay. I love the wide variety of location at this one venue; there is a different spot for both the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, so guests are always experiencing something new at every step of the day! There are also private docks available that the couple and their wedding party can use for portraits which trust me, any photographer will just love! This couple was so sweet to allow us endless photo time and I think you’ll see below that it was absolutely worth it! Every moment of this day, no matter how hot it may have been, was certainly enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
