As I’ve mentioned, oh, a dozen or so times by now, from the moment I picked up a film camera, I was completely enamored by it. I attended a film workshop back in February under the direction of Kristen Lynne Photography & Matoli Keely Photography, two amazing film photographers in the DC are who are just taking the film world by storm (yep, just used that phrase)! So when Matoli reached out to see if I was available to help her at a wedding in April, I was at first, shocked, and then super excited! I had long wanted to see what it would be like to shoot an entire wedding on film (well, watch HER shoot an entire wedding on film!).  It was such a unique experience and I cannot thank her enough for being so kind to include me.

This wedding was the perfect opportunity as it was an absolute dream from beginning to end (I mean seriously, did you get a look at that car?!?!), which isn’t surprising as it was styled by the lovely Kat of Dear Sweetheart Events! We even got a sneak peek at the upcoming Cherry Blossoms as we strolled along the Tidal Basin.  The lovely bride herself is quite gifted in the wedding planning department; she will soon be launching The Wedding Blueprint, an online guide inspired by real weddings and true love stories. You truly could not have asked for a better group of vendors or a sweeter, more caring couple to work with!  I can’t wait any longer… go enjoy this stunning wedding!
