When Nichole and David showed up at their engagement session in Warrenton, VA with their pup, Bodie in hand, I could not have been more excited! First of all, they both looked incredibly dapper; Nichole in her gorgeous blush skirt with the perfect cami and David in a fitted blazer. Bodie himself even had a brand new collar and leash for the occasion! It’s also no secret that I am a huge dog lover, to say the least, so getting to love on this sweet boy for 90 minutes was nothing but pure joy! To say he loved his parents would be a bit of an understatement, but luckily their kind friend Trisha was in tow to help us out when Bodie needed a break! Like the start of their own love story, Nichole and David happened upon Bodie by pure chance; his original adoption fell through at the last minute and he was theirs! 

Nichole, originally from Illinois, moved out here when her relationship at the time started to get serious. Things didn’t work out, but she loved the area and decided to stay. And luckily so! Because shortly after, she was introduced to David through mutual friends and, as they say, the rest is history! He proposed to her over the summer, but they tried to keep everything low key to respect their other friend’s nuptials taking place in the following weeks. With their own wedding season behind them, they can now focus on their big day which will be taking place in Atlanta next November! David is originally from the area and when a job offer came about, he couldn’t refuse an opportunity to return home. Washington, DC will surely miss these two (and Bodie, of course!) but it was such an honor to capture their engagement session before they depart in just a few weeks!
