Lisa and Matt were married this April in a beautiful spring wedding that was one for the books! Although it was an unseasonably warm day with temperatures reaching well into the 90s, these two were such troopers as I took them to location after location for portraits in the stunning gardens at Oatlands Plantation. Lisa previously told me that photography was one of her biggest priorities and I certainly wasted no time putting that to the test! The threat of thunderstorms loomed in the skies, but never once did we experience even as much as a sprinkle. After their intimate ceremony, their friends and family gathered at Stonewall Golf Club in Gainesville, VA to finish the evening off with a celebration! 

One of my favorite parts of their wedding was how much love and attention went in to every single aspect of the day. Lisa created her own hairpiece (it’s INCREDIBLE!) and even did the centerpieces for their reception! Many family members contributed cookies to their favor table, an old Pittsburgh tradition. And Matt and his mom personally welcomed each and every guest to the dance floor which kicked off the night in the best way possible! These two are clearly surrounded by an amazing community that will hold up their marriage in the many years to come. 

I hope the two of you know what a blessing it was to be part of your wedding day! I loved getting to know your friends and family and obviously enjoyed the cookie bar :) :) I hope you have a wonderful time in Hawaii!
