Inn at Willow Grove Wedding

Charlotte & Tomas celebrated their nuptials this summer with a lovely Inn at Willow Grove wedding in Orange, VA. I think most brides would agree that wedding planning isn’t always easy — sure it’s worth it in the end, but it’s definitely a lot of hard work! Now imagine trying to plan a wedding when you’re half way across the world and that’s the situation these two found themselves in. See, Charlotte & Tomas currently reside along the Gold Coast of Australia.

I’ve known Charlotte for many years as her entire family grew up just a few houses down from my husband’s in Stafford, VA. After graduation, Charlotte attended the College of Charleston where she eventually studied abroad in Australia. Tomas also found himself in Australia, a long way from his home in Sweden. They connected at work and were inseparable almost immediately. A short while later they found themselves being married in June of 2014!

While some may argue this isn’t the most “conventional” way of doing things, it’s clearly been working for these two. In person, it’s easy to see that the love they have for one another is deep and built on a solid foundation. It’s a love that’s apparent in every touch, every look, every kiss. As if all that wasn’t enough, Tomas’ sweet daughter, Maia and Charlotte have also developed a special relationship with one another. This only reinforces the strong bond between this family and ensures a lifestyle of happiness together.

Charlotte & Tomas, I’m so grateful to have been a small part of this amazing journey and to get to experience the love you have for one another. I’m so excited for what the future holds for you two and cannot wait to follow along from the other side of the world!
