As I’ve mentioned, oh, once or twice on this blog, I absolutely love having the weddings of my sweet couples featured on a local, nation-wide, or even world-wide blog to showcase their big day. It’s just that these brides and grooms (and their families!) put so much hard work into making it a reality that I want as many people as possible to get to enjoy the outcome! But that being said, it’s also not easy to get a wedding publish. There are literally thousands of weddings each and every weekend across just the DMV area that there is some major competition! 

So when I found out that Emily and Greg’s Rixey Manor wedding was going to be featured on Glamour & Grace, I was ecstatic, to say the least. See, Emily, as many ALP brides and grooms may know, is my primary second shooter! She works with over half of my couples each and every season, providing them so much love as if they were her own, that I really wanted to be able to go above to thank her in any way possible. They had an intimate ceremony with just close friends and family — which I genuinely LOVED — but it also meant that not many got to see the beautiful details that made up their wedding day.
