Kelly and Tom were married in a classic Alexandrian Hotel wedding this past December in Old Town Alexandria, VA featuring a gorgeous palette of ivory, champagne and crimson . This little nook of Virginia, just minutes outside of Washington, DC is one I’ve visited many times with my couples for their engagement sessions, but had yet to photograph a wedding there — so needless to say, I was excited to see this place with new eyes! Old Town is an incredible unique area because it’s so well maintained by it’s residents. It offers stunning views on the docks across the Potomac River to DC while still being a quaint slice of heaven with old row homes and cobblestones streets. It was an absolutely perfect choice for a timeless couple like Kelly & Tom to celebrate their marriage with friends and family. I loved how they subtly tied in the holiday season with a few tasteful, gold ornaments in their floral vases — a cute nod without being over the top! This sweet bride and groom didn’t let a single detail go unnoticed all the way down to their personalized napkins!
The Hotel Monaco, their wedding venue, sits right in the heart of Alexandria on King Street. It’s easily the most iconic hotel in the area with it’s charming gold overhang that perfectly complemented Kelly’s wedding colors. Thank you so much to My Hotel Wedding for featuring Tom and Kelly’s amazing wedding — you can head over to their page to see the full feature here!
And a huge thank you to all the amazing vendors who made this wonderful feature a possibility!
