If you’ve been following along for a while now, or have known me for about, oh… 2 seconds, you know I’m a dog person. If I see one on the street, pretty much no matter what I’m doing I have to stop and pet it! And I especially love it when my clients bring their their dogs to our sessions and I get to dote on them for a full 90 minutes. So I’ve gotten to share many, many posts of other dogs but realized my own fur baby only has one post on here! I share updates about her often on Instagram, but today on the blog it’s all about Granger!
In late December/early January, we are all so excited for the first snow! Will it close the metro? Get us a day off work? Keep us inside to nap and watch Netflix? Well, if you have a dog, this isn’t exactly what you get to do. I should rephrase that and say if you have a dog who loves the snow! We certainly do and absolutely love playing outside with her. By February, I’m ready to see it all melt, but she could do this all year long. If dogs ruled the world…
here is a running joke in our family that every time Rob comes home from work, I say, “look at these new pictures of Granger!”. Which as an a. Wedding Photographer and b. Dog Lover, isn’t super shocking. But typically they are the weird pictures I wouldn’t take when he is home — you know what I’m talking about; putting on weird clothes, a doggy portrait session, maybe even a costume here and there. Without further ado, I present to you…
Granger hates — and I mean hates — thunderstorms and fireworks. We got her a Thundershirt and I’m not so sure it works. She mostly likes hiding in our closet and in small places!
We saw this idea on Pinterest and it would definitely be a “fail” for us — we thought she would love an ice bath in July but instead all she wanted to do was eat it!
And of course, 1,000,000 pictures of our girl just being sweet and cuddly :)
