Breaux Vineyards Wedding

I was so excited to kick off the month of October with a gorgeous black tie affair for Molly and Brandon’s Breaux Vineyards wedding. It was my first time shooting at this particular venue in Purcellville, VA, (which is always a fun adventure for me) and having been married at a winery myself, I’m slightly partial to these beautiful locations! As their wedding day quickly approached, so did the impending storms; they started the Tuesday before and seemed, in the days leading up, that the rain would never stop! I always come prepared for rain on a wedding day, so I wasn’t worried about getting some stunning portraits among the vines, but I truly only care about my client’s happiness and know that rain can bum out even the happiest of couples.

When I arrived at Molly’s suite, I was greeted by the biggest smile you could ever imagine and I immediately knew: a little rain wasn’t going to stop these two from having a perfect day! Their entire family and wedding party didn’t complain once as the rain softly drizzled on their perfect updos and rented suits. Believe me when I say, THIS was the group of people you want to be working with on a rainy wedding day!

The night carried on with many personal speeches and lots and lots of dancing (seriously, there was a point when I counted less than ten people who were NOT on the dance floor!). As Molly’s sister, Corey, so aptly stated it, the Barbie and Ken of Arlington were surrounded by so much love from beginning to end.

Molly and Brandon, you truly have such kind and loving friends and families. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your celebration and please don’t forget to pack me when you head to Hawaii for the honeymoon :)
