I first heard of Hochzeitsguide when attending Michael and Carina’s workshop at Agecroft Hall in Richmond, VA last spring. We were talking about submission and Carina, being from Germany herself, elegantly let this name roll of her tongue as one of her favorite international wedding blogs. I remember another attendee asking her to spell that for us and I quickly breathed a sigh of relief as I thought the same thing! As soon as I got home that evening, I looked up the site and was in awe of the beauty that laid on the pages of Susanne’s gorgeous blog. It was filled with stunning fine art film imagery with a light and airy aesthetic. I immediately recognized the work of some of my favorite photographers and I, just one of many Washington, DC wedding photographers, wondered if I would be able to grace the pages of something so elegant. I think the thing I love most about this blog is the air of mystery in it’s pages.
Well, this past May I attended another workshop, this time Belle Lumiere’s at RiverOaks in Charleston, SC. We photographed session after session of stunning eye candy, but one that really stuck out to me was Sydney’s bridal portraits on the beach at sunrise. I hoped this would be a good fit for Hochzeitsguide and when submission time came around, they were the first on my list. I cannot tell you how ecstatic I was to receive Susanne’s e-mail that she agreed!
Please leave Susanne and the wonderful team behind this shoot some love over at Hochzeitsguide where you can see the full bridal portraits feature from Charleston, SC here!
And a huge thank you to the amazing team that made this dream shoot possible; don’t forget to check out their websites as I know they will so appreciate your support!
