I have (literally) been preparing this post all year while photographing weddings throughout Washington, DC, areas throughout Virginia like Leesburg, Charlottesville, and Richmond and even a few in North Carolina (including the Outer Banks!)! So today we’re taking a break from all the bridal business and engagement/wedding recaps to check out the fun that ensued during the 2015 season — trust me, there was a lot of it! And away… we… go…

These first few are a look at a day in the life of an ALP couple. First things first, if you wear a veil, I will find a way under it.

Apparently I point… a lot.  

Also, walking, we will do a TON of that. 

I will definitely try to get you laughing! My jokes are terrible, so I think everyone just laughs to make me feel better :) 

Dress buttoning, fluffing and bouquet carrying are included at no extra charge ;)  

When in doubt, I am always there to demonstrate!

Your first look: just you, your fiance and… me! 

 I can promise not to actually cut your cake (but I can’t promise not to eat any!).

Next are some of fun, strange things that happen on wedding days including dancing, holding babies, and even getting behind the mic…
