Welcome to my blog, where I share highlights of everything from my client's wedding days and portrait sessions, to recent features and our adventures around the world.

Hi, I'm Alicia.

The Portrait Project | Camille

Aug 2, 2017

If I’m remembering correctly, the first time I met Camille is when she and her husband, Ben, attended a Christmas party at my house! It might sound weird to invite people you barely know to your home for a party, but that’s just how the photography community is — everyone is very open and excited to get to know one another! That particular evening actually introduced me to so many of my favorite people, Camille, the photographer behind Camille Catherine Photography, being one of them. We have kept in touch ever since and I’ve loved sharing education, referrals, and even shoots with her over that time! Enjoy reading a bit more about Camille below!

Name | Camille Arneberg
Age | 27
…I always get complimented on my smile, but my favorite feature is actually my collarbone!
…I haven’t always been proud of my hips, but I’m learning to embrace it.
…I feel most confident when I’ve just had a really good, hard workout. More sweat = more confidence.
The last time I felt truly beautiful was…
When I was feeling like I look particularly questionable on a certain day and Ben, my husband, told me that I looked absolutely beautiful. Something about that unprompted remark always makes me smile.

What is something that has been a challenge for you over the past year?
Facing unknowns and uncertainty. In the next four months we’re getting ready for: a move, BOTH being full-time entrepreneurs, world-traveling and relocating my photography business. It can be hard to trust God and trust the journey. It’s tempting to want to fast-forward through the moment to KNOW all the answers right away instead of letting the uncertainty shape us and help us know and trust God’s loving character more!
