Romantic Early Mountain Vineyard Wedding

Nikki and Eliot tied the knot in an intimate fall wedding at Early Mountain Vineyard in Madison, VA. I had previously shot an Early Mountain Vineyard wedding a few years back and the reception space within the venue will always be one of my favorites. The multiple chandeliers and high ceilings add an elegant touch to any affair. Nikki dreamed up a beautifully exquisite ballroom that featured a hint of Kate Spade amongst details of gold, navy, and blush. Guest after guest commented about how breathtaking it was as they entered for the reception.

But they also couldn’t stop talking about another breathtaking part of the day, and that was the lovely bride, Nikki. She donned a multi-tiered gown full of ruffles that made Eliot gasp in delight as he laid eyes on her during their first look. These two had initially thought they wanted to save the moment they first locked eyes on their wedding day for that walk down the aisle, but as planning evolved, they both agreed that a first look might be a special way to begin it with one another. Watching their interaction during the moment proved that it was definitely the right call, as they couldn’t stop smiling, laughing, hugging, and kissing on one another — the way you should be able to when you initially see each other on your wedding day!

The night ended as it began, amongst just their closest friends and family for a small sparkler exit. It truly was the perfect way to have a few extra minutes alone with those that matter most on such a significant day. Nikki and Eliot, thank you for allowing us to be part of such a wonderful experience with you and your families; it’s been a joy working with you over the past year!
