Today’s feature is the perfect one to brighten up a gloomy January day; after all that snow we just had in Washington, DC this past weekend, we are due for a little sunshine (although, to be honest, I’m not one to complain — I secretly love the snow and think the more, the merrier!). Brittany and Ryan’s Outer Banks wedding at Duck Woods Country Club had the most beautiful color palette of bright corals, yellows, and pinks highlighted with gold accents as far as the eye could see. No detail went unthought; everything from her hand designed invitation suite to her custom lace veil (made from the same lace used by Kate Middleton for her wedding day!) matched the theme of the big day. Even the “Bear Bar” was decorated with personal memories to this wonderful couple! But Brittany brought the best accessory of all — her beautiful, genuine smile that didn’t fade for even a moment. I’ve seen a lot of happy brides in my time as a Washington, DC wedding photographer, but I think Brittany takes the cake!
