Two words immediately came to mind when thinking back on Brittany & Stephen’s Omni Richmond Hotel Wedding from this past November: “Classic” and “Black Tie”. Okay, that might be more like three words, but it’s two phrases which is basically the same thing in my eyes. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this wedding was going to be one for the books. I generally arrive early to walk the property and look for portrait locations, but in this case we were doing them offsite, so I had a few extra minutes to check out the reception space. Upon entering was my first clue — the tables were dressed in beautiful floral designs by Black Iris Floral Events and the room was complete with both a gourmet popcorn and dessert bar! I then headed upstairs to meet Brittany and quickly fell in love with every single one of her details from the stunning lace gown from Ava Laurenne Bridal to the delicate jewelry and classic white shoes. One of the best parts of being a Washington, DC wedding photographer is that you’re the first to see the bride in her complete ensemble and this one was no exception — Brittany absolutely radiated beauty and joy.
