Omni Hotel Richmond, VA Wedding

Brittany and Stephen were married this November in a stunning black tie affair in Richmond, VA. Their vows were shared beneath the incredible dome at the Cathedral of the Sacred heart, followed by a beautiful reception in the Omni Hotel’s ballroom. It was truly a perfect day and, despite a small chill in the air from winter quickly approaching, we had tons of time for portraits across the entire city. I cannot say enough how amazing these two were about just everything; Brittany didn’t complain a single time about the cold and let me get shot after shot in front of this gorgeous church and their vintage Bentley.

And while the portraits were amazing (see for yourself below!) and, of course, one of my favorite parts of the day, I can’t help but comment on something even more important — the sweetest first look between Brittany and her father. It was clear that these two have a special bond with one another. From the moment he saw her, he had happy tears in his eyes and I don’t think they went away as she showered him in gifts and he eventually gave her away. While she is now Stephen’s wife, I’m certain her and her dad will always be close with one another. In fact, their entire family was such a joy to be around and made this already incredible day just that much better.
