From the old, historic home with stunning white columns to the perfectly hedged gardens filled with greenery and flowers alike, Morven Park embodies everything I love about Virginia as a Washington, DC wedding photographer. It’s one of those rare spots that has a little bit of everything all rolled in to one perfect venue. As an artist, I get excited about every opportunity to photograph in a new location. Sure, I absolutely have some old favorites like DAR weddings, but it allows me to step out of my comfort zone and push my boundaries which is always welcome. This shoot was definitely no exception, as I hadn’t previously had the opportunity to work with any of the vendors coming together to make it a reality.
It, of course, turned out better than I ever could have imagined and I was so excited to show off the work of all these talented folks in the wedding industry. I was overwhelmed with joy when Aisle Perfect agreed that it was a lovely shoot and wanted to feature it on their amazing blog. It just went like today, so please head over there to check out the entire feature HERE.
As I always have to mention, no shoot is possible without an incredible team — photography is just one small part to making it all come together. I feel so lucky to get to capture beauty like this on a regular basis and am honored to have worked with each and every vendor below. Please head over to their sites and leave them some love!
