I am incredibly humbled and honored to share that my work has been featured on the wedding blog: Wedding Sparrow! I first fell in love with Wedding Sparrow almost a year ago when they featured our 3rd Anniversary Session that was photographed by Laura Gordon outside Washington, DC; I knew immediately that one day I wanted to have my own work featured on there and it is finally happening! Thank you again, Wedding Sparrow!
The images from this session were photographed at the For the Love of Film Workshop hosted by Matoli Keely Photography and Kristen Lynne Photography . I spoke a lot about how much I enjoy that workshop in my original post which you can find here, but in summary, I highly recommend it to anyone looking to grow their skills in film photography. It’s certainly an entry level course per se, which was exactly what I needed at the time. They covered all the basics of shooting and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions. Besides the amazing shoot, of course, I think my favorite part was just how open and honest these two were about their processes from beginning to end. I didn’t feel like they were holding back out of fear of us “stealing” their ideas, but instead wanted us to grow and learn with them. I’ve even had the opportunity to shoot with Matoli since then and can say she is exactly the same way on a wedding day!
The workshop wasn’t just the work of these two ladies, however. The shoot was pulled together by an amazing team of vendors that you can explore a bit more below!
