A lot of the time, it’s just silly, unimportant information that is fun to know… but in some way, it still makes you feel like you getting know more about this person whose work you follow on a regular basis. It also allows you to find out things you have in common or say, “oh I do that too!”

I thought it would be entertaining for you all to do one of my own. I asked Rob to help me come up with a few and it took us over an hour — does that mean I’m a boring person!? I definitely have a lot of quirks, most of them are just not that interesting I guess!

Anyway, here are the best/funniest that we came up with… But don’t leave me hanging, post something unique/quirky about you in the comments!

1. I have a disturbingly long tongue that touches the tip of my nose. I fell when I was a kid and almost bit it off — still have a pretty large gash in it.

2. I read almost a book a week (thanks to too much commuting time), but still haven’t found anything I love more than Harry Potter.

3. I HATE vegetables! I realize most people don’t like them, but just the smell can make me gag… I wouldn’t even eat mashed potatoes until college.

4. I didn’t see Forest Gump until I was 22 and I didn’t really like it! Rob tells me this is un-American and the equivalent to not liking puppies or ice cream (I like both, btw!). I think all the quotes and jokes had ruined it for me by then.

5. I almost never get the words to songs right; I just make up whatever fits. Bonus: I’m a terrible singer.

6. I’m afraid of the ocean and will only go in clear water.

7. I love planning and lists — I make lists to make lists. (TeuxDeux is the greatest app ever if you’re like this too).

8. I am embarrassingly bad at riding bike and even worse at rollerskating/blading. I had to purposely avoided childhood birthday parties at the roller rink… Think of what I missed out on!

9. At one point, I had 9 piercings — bellybutton, nose, and 7 in my ears. I slowly took them out over the years and now only have 3 left in my ears.

10. I’ve been scrap booking everything since 6th grade! It’s an expensive hobby, but a unique way to keep all our memories.
